The Madison County Coin Club was founded in 1957. Last club meeting was April 2024. The club closed in Spring 2024. The Madison County Coin Club is dedicated to sharing, encouraging and dispensing numismatic information and promoting fellowship between persons interested in numismatics, and promoting numismatics. There are a range of collecting interests in numismatics can be as broad as the individual collector wishes to make it. The Madison County Coin Club will appeal to a collector in any category of numismatics, but not limited to: U.S. Coins, Civil War Tokens, Foreign Coins, U.S. and Foreign Paper Money, Tokens, Ancient Greek and Roman Coinage, to name a portion of our members interests. Our members range in knowledge from beginners to specialist. Everyone is willing to share their knowledge and their experiences, their trials and tribulations. The Madison County Coin Club is designed for the collector who wants to grow, to gain more knowledge, to get involved in the hobby that provides so many interesting and relaxing hours of enjoyment. The atmosphere of our meeting is one of friendliness. Though we have an elected President officiating at each meeting, it's the membership that runs the club. Every member is "special" to the club. We value their ideas, their participation and involvement, and their presence. The Madison County Coin Club holds membership in the American Numismatic Association, the Central States Numismatic Society, and the Indiana Numismatic Association. We presently meet on the third Monday of each month at the Anderson Library which is located at 111 East 12th Street in downtown Anderson, Indiana at 6 pm and we have to be done by 7:50 pm) The Madison County Coin Club is a not for profit. Dues are paid on a yearly basis (Due August 1st), Membership for juniors, ages up to 21 is $2.50. Regular Membership (21 and olders) is $5.00. A Madison County Coin Club membership gives you the following activities, perks, opportunities, participation, events, and enjoyment:
